Term 4
In Term 4 Mathematics lessons the Grade 3 students will be focusing on revising a variety of areas.
In Number and Algebra students will focus on developing their understanding to solve a variety of worded problems. These problems will develop our established maths skills in solving addition, subtraction, multiplication and division problems. We will also revise our time telling skills to help us solve worded time problems.
In Measurement and Geometry students will focus on 'Angles', 'Mass' and 'Volume'
Looking at 'Angles,' students will identify and compare different angle sizes. Our 'Mass' focus will allow students to measure objects by using familiar metric units of mass, such as grams and kilograms. Students will then be able to order and compare objects using these units.
